Taurus Season Yoga class is designed to get you into a grounded groove and embody the qualities of the slow and steady bull and can build foundations and activate your voice, improve metabolism and release tension on the neck and shoulders. You will practice low-range to mid-range yoga poses with neck movements and applying Ujjayi Pranayama (Victorious Breath). Finally, to complete the Taurus Season Yoga with Brahma Mudra which is a complete healing therapy for the eyes, neck, mind, spine, throat, shoulders and hypothalamus and thyroid glands. Shoulder Stand is an inversion it requires leg and core strength and an awareness of the arms and legs. In this class, you’ll target to open up your shoulders, back and neck and strengthen the legs with yoga poses bending forward and arms binding around the back. After that, you’ll practice shoulderstand variations, and freeing your way up to Unsupported Shoulderstand. Props suggested: extra yoga mat, yoga blocks.
A chair can simply provide a good support especially holding long on yoga poses. In this class, you will be doing twisting yoga poses with the support of a chair that can help you go deeper into the pose and access to hidden places where you hold tension. Also provides an opportunity to build strength. Props suggested: chair, yoga mat, cushion.
In this class you will practice variations of transition from Downward Facing Dog pose to Side Plank pose that encourages expansion of the back and sides of the ribcage and shoulders and lengthening the back of the legs. And Side Plank pose strengthen your wrists and shoulders. Basically, this class is all about building balance between upper and lower halves of the body as well as between the right and left sides. Puppy Pose or Uttana Shishosana is primarily a heart opening posture. This class is designed to expand your upper body and release accumulated tension through puppy pose variations. The pose is a bliss! No props.
The zodiac sign Aries is bold and ambitious. The colour for Aries is red. As the sign of persistent Ram and its sturdy horns, Aries dives headfirst into even the most challenging situations (which is appropriate, since Aries rules the head and neck in the body). Aries are driven by a desire to prove themselves and their strength, and being undefeated. These may bring about tension in the head and neck. Aries Season Yoga class is designed to gather and release stagnant energy and stress that’s been stored in these areas. You will practice standing yoga poses with the head diving toward the ground while the arm binding around the back ready for battle. Asides, you will also practice standing backward bending, side bending and abdominal works to balance the energy at Manipura Chakra or Solar Plexus Chakra. Finally, to complete the Aries Season Yoga you will practice 2 Mudra (Hand Gesture), Musthi Mudra (Fist Gesture) which helps to throw away negative emotions and Meshayudha Mudra (Sheep Fighting Gesture) to build courage or firmness. Crown Chakra is the highest energy center in your entire chakra system and it integrates the individual qualities of all 7 chakras. Crown Chakra also known as the thousand-petaled lotus, located at the top of your head. The main function of the Crown Chakra is to connect you with the Divine force and source of healing energy. This class focuses on affirmation and meditation as it is the most important practice for unlocking the power of your Crown Chakra for absolute freedom and ladder to immortality. You will chant all the 7 Main Chakra beeja mantras and finally practice Sahasrara Chakra Mudra and mentally chant the beeja mantra “OM” associated with the Sahasrara Chakra. Take your yoga practice to the wall with slow yet challenging movements and build strength and endurance progressively. The sequence features few arm strength and backbend postures and transition to Full Handstand. Props suggested: wall space
This will be a 7 weeks program, in the sequential order you will practice to unlock one chakra with relevant yoga postures, a mudra and beeja mantra associated with the chakra. You will practice the sequence for that chakra once a day for one week until the next chakra. The Third Eye Chakra or Ajna Cakra is the sixth chakra from the bottom, is located in the middle of your head, between the eyebrows. The Third Eye Chakra controls your ability to perceive, think creatively and use your intuition. It also governs your self-awareness, self-realization, imagination and ability to envision all of your dreams. This class focuses on meditation, affirmation and pranayama as the Third Eye Chakra is more responsive towards such practices. At the end of the class, you will practice Ajna Chakra Mudra and chant the beeja mantra “OM” associated with Ajna Chakra. Props suggested: yoga blocks.
